- News Flash: Ron Gets Mouthful of Lipstick - Ron Gets Mouthful of Lipstick Ron Ng and Kate Tsui attended a radio interview to promote their new series "The Brink of Law" yesterday and talking about a kiss scene in the show, there were too many people on set at the time and it made Kate feel quite embarrassed. Ron revealed that during filming, Kate put on a thick layer of lipstick, so when they kissed, he felt like he was sticking to her and thinking back, he finds it quite funny. However, he says that it was just a peck and even without NG's, they still had to do it four or five times to get all the camera angles. As for the recent rumours that Ron has frightened record company BMA by his behaviour and they are not signing any more TVB artistes as a result, he says he has not heard this rumour and does not believe that he will affect the decision of the record company to sign other talented singers. What about his own contract with them? Ron says that this is in the hands of TVB and he is unclear about this. He says: "I feel that for artistes who can sing, they will not be affected." Raymond Lam is from a big family, and is the eldest son and grandson, so the family has high hopes on him. In these 27 years, my love life has been incredibly boring. It must be because I went to an all boys’ school. Not Giving Up On Acting Career Although my family is wealthy compared to others, but when I was a kid, my father's business was not as big, and my life was the same as any other kid. It was after my siblings were born, then my father became successful and the responsibilities of helping my father is on me. When I was in university, I was majoring in architecture, but in the end, I chose to be an artist. At first, my father gave me five years of time, if I can't achieve something, then I would have to help him with business. There was a time where my career was not as smooth, and I thought about quitting, but my younger brother says he's interested in business, and my younger sister is taking accounting right now. I'm sure that they will give my father some help, and I still don't want to give up on acting, so I will continue it until the end. Career: Competition with Buddies As an artist, I think that "opportunities" are very important. After "Twin of Brothers", I started to gain more fame, but the company decided to send me to open up the Mainland market. I admit that I was worried then, but I don't have a choice, so I entered the Mainland market. Luckily, the series I filmed in Mainland aired in Hong Kong also, so my worries were gone. Like they say, "If you gain something, you're bound to lose something ", during these years, the company had a lot of newbies, like Ron Ng, Bosco Wong, Kenneth Ma, and they were famous. If you ask me how I feel? The truth is I'm happy, because all those are my buddies, and knew each other for a long time. From another point of view, if there were no other artists as competitors, I will only be in series as someone's son or brother. I won't be able to improve if there was nobody to compete against me. Closest With Ron Ng Out of the "Five Tigers", I'm closest with Ron, because our personality and thoughts are very similar, sometimes we would know what each other want right away. The most important thing is, we wish each other well, so there won't be reports of us in disagreement. Plus, we have different styles, we won't steal each other's spotlight. If he is doing better in his career, wouldn't that be good? I accept this kind of positive competition.

- News Flash: EEG wants Raymond! - EEG Wants Raymond Lam! credits: Apple Daily, Raymondforest credits: Vickie@The Beehive Earlier, someone saw the TVB executive Stephen Chan having "Be My Guest" at the Peninsula Hotel. The guest was Raymond Lam, along with Virginia Lok, and the EEG executive Ng Yu. That day they were at the hotel for about 2 hours, what were they talking about? Fung Yun Chiu heard that EEG wants Raymond Lam and promote him as a singer, because lately the male singers are not doing too well, Nicholas Tse, Deep Ng, Don Li, Kenny Kwan and Sun Boy'Z, don't need to mention how bad they are. Since the male singers are not doing well, they might as well find someone else to help them. Raymond Lam sings and dance pretty well, plus he is the main lead for the grand production, "The Legendary Era", if EEG does sign contract with him, then it helps the relationship between TVB and EEG. No wonder EEG is always suggesting TVB to sign the contract like a creditor. Rumors are spreading that TVB already signed the singer's contract with EEG, but of course TVB will not let Raymond sign the management contract. Currently, Raymond is busy filming "The Legendary Era". The afternoon two days before, he was filming with Charmaine Sheh, and the scene talked about how Charmaine nearly hit him. It seems like Raymond trusts Charmaine's driving skills and walked into the middle of the road without being scared, and was very professional. Raymond Lam signing EEG, whether if he's going to famous in singing or not, we'll have to see. However, his best buddy Ron Ng is not as lucky as him, because his dancing and singing skills are bad, and didn't zip his pants before performing. This series can be said to be the most challenging for Leila as her character must be portrayed from 16 years old to 30 years old. The occupation of her character is certainly tricky, Leila will first play a waitress and then will be forced to marry a court eunuch (太監). Due to such changes in status, Leila will have many ‘looks’ in this series, including a female pretending to be a male (while she is a waiter), a virtuous young woman, a married woman, a horse rider and a bride. But out of all images, Leila likes the waiter look the best. She commented, “This look makes me remember the time I had to imitate a young Leslie Cheung, it was very funny. (Isn’t hurtful when have to bind you chest?) Yes, but thankfully I’m not busty. Leila’s costumes in the series have all been made by hand in Beijing. Raymond, Ron, Leila, Tavia I relly luved the CSS and the design of the layout, even though I screwed it up with a relly unartistic blend of RT and RL. I didn't relly spend a lotta time on this layout since I wanted it to open relly quick. It was a fall layout, but I opened the blog in winter. -_-, weird me like always. Besides the not so good blended pictures, this layout was quite perfect.

- New Layout! - Yay! The new layout can finally be up! After days of coding, I'm done. The layout is pretty plain, but I like this blend more then the last one. Last one was in a hurry, since I wanted it to open before winter break, but i like the CSS design on that one better, a more bloglike layout. I spent a lot of time fixing up this layout, especially making the lines match. I used the Brink of Law pictures for this, and I relly love those pictures I got from the TVFANSQAURE forum. Oh and I changed the name too, the word "network" seemed wayy too big for a small blog like this. So now it's FungYi and CheukLing Blogger instead of network. xD Hope you guys like it and please tag! I'll update more news and stuff tomorrow, k?

Leila Tong & Sammul Chan to Film "The Last Princess" Credits:JayneStars Leila Tong Ning and Sammul Chan Kin Fung will be appearing in mainland production, "The Last Princess." Other cast members include Tsui Kwai Ying, Christie Chung Lai Tai, Xiao Qiang, Hsuan Hing, etc. Filming will start on January 15th. It has been confirmed that Leila will play the role of Lee Hoi Sum. This role was highly sought after by other actresses. Although Leila had not taken part in China productions in the past, she was selected for this role due to her acting skills and her market value in Hong Kong. - News Flash: Tavia gets a car! - Sunday, January 7, 2007 Hey ya! I spend the whole day today coding the new layout that will be up this week. As you can see, the tagboard has changed color (the next layout will be blue). It's almost done, I just need a few touch ups. I'll update profile of Ron asap, but now it's news on Tavia and Ron. (man they need more news on Leila!) Enjoy! Tavia Buys a New Car with Rewards from Being Sexy CREDITS: EMSPACE Tavia Yeung has been invited to be the spokesperson for a beauty centre and took part in the opening ceremony for the company yesterday. She indicated excitedly that the fee was very satisfactory and she can fulfil her wish of buying a new car. To be asked to be the permanent spokesperson for the company by the owner, Tavia was very excited. This is the second time she has done an opening ceremony for them and she says that the fee is very good. As for the exact figure, she smiles: "I can buy a new car. This year I plan to change my car, so it is just enough to buy one." She hopes to buy a larger European car because her current Japanese model is too light and whenever her mother gets in and out, she will hit her head. What a good daughter Tavia is. Tavia wore a low-V top with a checked skirt at the event and asked if she was worried about revealing herself in such a sexy top in public, she said confidently: "I have made all the safety precautions and it will not happen." Her series "Dicey Business" aired its finale on Friday and she says that her family have been watching the show and there was a funny incident when her sister called her after watching the scene where Benz Hui's character dies and she misunderstood, thinking that her pet rabbit had died and she started crying. Although the show has finished airing, this has raised her popularity a lot and the role was one where she could excel, so she has gained a lot from it. Ron Ng Gets Kicked into the Pool as a Punishment Steven Ma, Shirley Yeung, Ron Ng, and many others were at a hotel swimming pool to promote their newest series, Brink of Law. Ron was late for 45 minutes so everyone had to wait one hour for him. Once he arrived, he was kicked into the pool by Steven. The producer, Mui Siu Ching, also mentions that she hopes he will not be late next time. Ron said embarassingly, "Mrs. Siu Ching is right to yell at me. I set the wrong time for the alarm. Sorry!" Everyone was playing water polo in the pool. Sherming Yeung and Yoyo Chan caught the most attention with their bikinis. On the other hand, Shirley only revealed her belly. Shirley said, "I'm not afraid of being the center of attention. I'm just scared of flashing myself so I dressed up with a young look today! (Are you afraid that your boyfriend won't like it?) This is only for promotion. We're just playing and joking around. Steven actually appeared with a pair of bicycle shorts yesterday. He said he will wear briefs when it is time to celebrate the ratings, "I wasn't afraid to wear them when I was swimming in middle school. As I grew older, I became afraid of wearing them." He revealed that he had to be topless while filming a water scene earlier. He especially tried to tone his body through push ups earlier. Steven joked, "I'm not Kenny Wong though!"

And by today's title, it's tavia of course. Why? Because she's the oldest out of them all, and then Ron, Ray, and lastly Leila. So that's how the order of profiles are gonna be posted. - News Flash: Ron Ng= Race Car Driver. - Friday, January 5, 2007 Hey guys me again! I know I update less and less, but skool is starting, and i'm getting sick again. :( And I know I should make some graphix too, which I'll hopefully do before this winter break ends (in two days). Oh well, below is some ron news. plz tag. :D Ron Ng as Race Car Driver; Nearly Had Car Accident on Set of 'The Drive of Life' Ron Ng, Michael Miu, and Toby Leung Ching Kei were filming a scene for new 60 episode series, "The Drive of Life" in Sai Wan. The scene spoke of father and daughter, Michael and Toby, dropping off their car to get it repaired by Ron, who is a mechanic at a garage. As a car enthusiast, Ron's character starts an animated conversation with Michael on car topics. In "The Drive of Life," Ron's character works at a garage in the day time. But at night, he races cars for thrills and is known as a "God of Cars" 「車神」. In the series, Ron has many speeding scenes. As Ron loves cars, this role is extremely suitable for him! "Later on, my character joins Michael's company as a car test driver. I eventually become a race car driver. With the help of mainland racing organizations, we will be filming scenes for some car racing competitions." "This role is very appropriate for me! TVB also invited highly knowledgeable car experts, such as Chin Ka Lok to train us." When Ron drove the Japan manufactured Fairlady sports car, he felt zealous. "Leaving TVB studio, I was driving the Fairlady at a relatively slow speed of 50-60 kilometers, but on the return trip, the car did a double spin. Luckily there were no cars nearby, but I was only 6 inches away from crashing the car into the rail. I was rattled, but not hurt." Anyway, hopoe everyone had a nice one and a nice year coming on. I was a lito lazy to update these past dates, but anyway, below is some Ron and Tavia news. Ron Ng Says that Toby Leung is not his type Tuesday January 2, 2007 Ron Ng, Steven Ma Chun Wai, Bernice Liu, Shirley Yeung, Kate Tsui, Michelle Mai Shuet, Chan Chi Yiu etc. were at a promotional event for "Brink of Law," which will be airing in Hong Kong soon. The cast appeared at Shatin's horse stables. Plagued by rumors last year, Ron hopes to remove himself from romantic rumors in 2007 and focus on his career. He hopes that "Brink of Law" will turn his career around successfully. Adhering to his vows, Ron removed himself from [the younger] actresses and paired up with veternan Michelle Mai Shuet during the games. As this show deals with combatting illegal gambling on horses, a group of cast members took part in a promotional event at the Shatin Racecourse and those present included Steven Ma, Bernice Liu, Shirley Yeung, Kate Tsui, Michelle Yim, Ron Ng and Kenneth Ma. As well as playing games, the stars also posed for photographs with the horses. However, they were not very co-operative, losing his temper and leaving droppings everywhere, so there was a lot of waiting around before they could successfully complete the photographs. During the shooting game, Steven accidentally aimed the gun at the floor, dropping all the pellets and causing everyone to laugh at him. Ron was blindfolded for his shot and this frightened everyone into running away. Steven appeared wearing a smart suit and he smiles that he only realised yesterday that he only had one tie at home that he has worn before, so he had no choice but to wear it again. This is Steven's first show to be aired after winning an award at last year's Anniversary awards and he feels that this series has given him the chance to work with many new faces and will help him create some new chemistry. Steven points out that in the show he plays brothers with Kenneth Ma and they are both referred to as 'Ma Jai' as a nickname. There is also a crew member from props who is called 'Ma Jai', so there are three of them. Originally, the crew had decided to refer to Steven as 'Siu Ma Gor', but he felt that this was rather sensitive, so in the end, they decided on calling Steven 'Ma Jai', Kenneth 'Ma Ming' and the crew member 'Ma Ye'. There were reports yesterday that Steven was forcefully pushing himself into photographs with an old granny. To this he responds: "I am innocent!" He explains that the granny had asked him earlier to have his photo taken with her, but because she stood away, he ran up to her to avoid her coming back, so it was all a misunderstanding. With these reports already so early on into 2007, Steven says: "I don't mind, it shows my attraction. At first, I was a bit shocked that they were reporting about an old lady, but I don't really mind about reports like this." Ron had earlier been linked with Toby Leung in rumours during the filming for "Men in Pain" and with the news breaking that he had spent New Years Eve celebrating with her and Raymond Lam in a bar, then of course the press questioned him about this. He says: "Raymond Lam was also there that night and a male artiste from the mainland artiste who is wokring with us in 'The Drive of Life'. We openly allowed the press to take photographs." He says that Toby also had other friends in the bar and as they played lovers in 'Men in Pain' and again in 'The Drive of Life', then they are good friends. Asked if he is interested in courting her, he smiles: "No, she is an executive's daughter! (Are you not brave enough to pursue?) No, we are just friends." There were also reports that he and Raymond were drunk on that night and only left the bar at 11am the next day. Ron syas that it was their friend who was drunk and they waited together for him to wake up before leaving together. Of course they also drank, because having a little alcohol on New Years Eve is no problem. So does going to a bar with Raymond make him a big hit with the girls? He syas that there were a lot of other friends there. Asked who he hugged after the countdown, he says that he was taking part in the countdown in Yuen Long and then he hugged Raymond. Asked if he would like to regain some popularity with "The Brink of Law", he played along and says: "Yes I want to spring back." Bernice was born in the year of the horse, so she has always loved horses. When she was younger, she once told her mother not to have a pet dog any more and keep a pet horse instead, laughing that it could live under her bed. she says that Michelle did take her to the racecourse to experience it before and she realised that people in Hong Kong own horses to race, but if she was to own a horse, then she would keep in the grassy fields of Canada. Talking of her role in this new series, Bernice says that it is a new trial for her because as well as being slapped by Michelle, she is also hit by Eliott Yue. Kate was dressed in a short skirt, revealing her rather thick legs. She says that she has been working on losing weight and has already reduced a lot of water mass. She has recently been introduced by a friend for a detox treatment that has reduced her water retention and now she has to depend on machines to help her slim the bottom half of her body. However, this is quite expensive, so she has to work hard to make money to stay beautiful. She also says that when she was filming for "On the First Beat" (aka 'Cadets on the Beat') she was like a tomboy so she lost interest in making herself up. Now she is filming for "The Entire City Dances" and has the chance to wear pretty clothing again, so she is starting to concentrate on her appearance again. Recently the fortune tellers have said that Shirley has good luck this year and a chance of getting married in 2007. She smiles that she is happy to hear that she will have good luck, but she will not be getting married so soon. She says: "Unless it is a lightning marriage, but I don't think so.
